Gardener's Choice says shipped my order but did not arrive, cannot reach them online or phone.
I am trying to reach them as if I have a new order to place. Still holding. If trying to get a rep. the line #2 is always busy. Frustrating, I just want the plants, don't like complaining. But I think I got ripped off here. I have emails them that are rejected and returned to me. I did put this on AMEX, so will be calling them to have them get me a refund. Beward using these people, could be a scam. I read other reports and did not head warning. But do get enticing emails from Gardener's Choice.

Gardner's Choice cheats customers
Gardner's choice offers free deals and extra plants but doesn't tell you how much your order will cost until it's too late to stop it! My supposedly "free" plants added $40 to my order...and when I tried to contact customer service, my e-mail was undeliverable; when I finally figured out how to contact them I was told it was "too late" and that my order had already shipped. I'm looking at a box of teeny, tiny $20 each little dirt-filled squares that bear no resemblance to the advertisement. I have reported them to the BBB. DO NOT BUY FROM GARDNER'S CHOICE!!!

Rude Customer Service and Credit Card used wtihout verification
Company claims the order was placed by myself or my husband because it shipped to our address and our phone number was used. Gardeners Choice rep admitted no security questions are asked to veirfy that the person making the call is in fact the actual card holder. Perhaps Gardner's Choice has not heard of phone lines being accessed to make fraudulant credit card charges in addition to fraudulant calls. Neither my husband or I are gardners, we just mow the grass. If we wanted grass seed, fertilizer and the rest of the junk that was sent to us, we could drive less than 10 minutes to Lowe's, Home Depot or Wal Mart to purchase the same exact items for far less money and have them immediately. It doesn't make sense to order something in May that is supposed to arrive at the ideal time for planting (now Aug). It is over 90 degrees in Virginia at this time of year and no one is planting grass or adding fertilizer to their lawns. It is just too hot. Customer Service is non existent. Both reps I spoke with were rude and abrupt. For me this is another indicator that there are so many complaints, the reps answer the phone prepared to do battle. If you have a choice for gardening supplies, stay away from Gardner's Choice

Gardner's Choice sent me dead plants
I recently ordered several different items from Gardner's Choice. After a long delay, I finally received some of the items I ordered. Half the plants were dead, the remainder have not responded to any type of care to grow. I am pulling out everything and learning a very undeserved lesson. Don't buy from those you do not know. Buy local, support your local economy. These internet sites are part of the economic problem. They can rob you and get away with it. Oh well bet that doesn't happen again. Beware people, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Never received plants , can't reach company, bunch of thiefs.
I placed an order in April hoping to have tomatoes by July as promised on national television. I guess they made up for that advertising cost. Unable to reach the company, phone rang for 7 minutes and was busy before and after. Someone needs to do something, I wonder how many millions they stole from trusting consumers. I will be putting a claim thru with my credit card company. With the state of the economy the way it is the people behind this scam should be tarred and feathered. E-mail came back undeliverable, guess they picked up the farm and left. Profanity, profanity...... Richard A. Barrow / Pembroke Pine, Florida

Giant Tomato TV Scam
I ordered one order of giant tomato plants of 3 plants and one order of early plants (supposedly a 'gift') for a total cost of $10. The way they promoted it, they were sending you 3 plants that grew to 7-8 Ft tall plus 3 free regular early producing plants. NOT! Rather than call it in, I used the internet. There was no information on what the cost for shipping was until after I placed the order and the finally total came up. Then the shipping cost appears at $11.90, which was more than what the 6 plants cost. I printed off the order statement. The total cost came to $21.90. I was ready to cancel the order but then there was no way to contact the company to stop the shipment. I waited for the order for two weeks. When it arrived, the total mailing cost on the box was 80 cents compared with the paid s&h of $11.90. There were 6 tiny dry containers with a tablespoonful of dirt in each, supposedly containing seeds, wrapped in clear plastic with labels attached and instructions. I am contacting my credit card company and demanding they stop payment on the shipment. This operation is a rip off. If I want plants or anything for gardening that is unusual, I'll go locally or buy from a trusted source. Never from 'Gardner's Choice' again.

Gardner's Choice Again
Gardner's Choice, well folks, I finally got through to Gardner's Choice by email. All it took was an email with the subject line Colorado Attorney General. I wrote to them and also wrote to the CO Atty. Gen; asking them to ban Gardner's Choice products from being sold in Colorado. I received an email from Gardner's Choice saying they had cancelled my order but I have to go to the website for my refund. What a joke!! Now I am back to square one with them, not getting through either by email or phone. Not sure if I will even get a refund!

Can't get in touch with service dept.
i ordered tree tomatos. they never came up. i don't think there were any seeds in the pots. i ordered fruit trees and only got part of my order. i have called customer service several times on my on dime, only to be put on hold or hung up on. i just want a refund, but it don't think that will happen. i have e-mailed the company and never got an answer. i have gone online and checked my order status to see if the rest of my order has been sent and they have down for about a dozen fruit trees that i did not order. everytime i check the delivery status the date changes.

Charged me for items i did not get
i ordered from gardners choice one time. it was 6 tomatoes trees for 10.99 and a bag of grass for 7.98. i was charged 46.64 for these items. the tomatoes trees were shipped dead. the grass was so so. then i look on my bank statement this month and i see they have charged 36.65 on my card again. i can't get in touch with anyone on the phone. i think we all should get in touch with the better business bureau in their town or talk to the chamber of commerce there. can someone e-mail me the correct address if you know it and i will contact a friend of mine who is an attorney and see what he can do. thanks margaret henderson clouddancer12001@***.com
